Neonatal Nurse In Level 2 Nicu Setting
Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level 2 NICU setting. Ensure the health and safety of newborns, including performing baby catch procedures during C-sections and managing patient care within the unit.
Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive nursing care to neonatal patients in the Level 2 NICU.
- Perform baby catch procedures during C-section cases to ensure neonatal safety.
- Document patient information accurately using EPIC electronic health record system.
- Float to related units such as Post Partum when required, providing consistent patient support.
- Adhere to hospital policies regarding background checks, charting, and module completion.
- Maintain compliance with travel and licensing requirements, including NY state licensure and travel policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid NY RN license in hand prior to submission.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent NICU nursing experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EPIC charting system.
- Ability to work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- Capable of floating to postpartum and managing baby catch in OR.
- Compliant with Tier 2 travel policies and RTO limitations.
