Job Description:
Join a dedicated medical-surgical step-down unit as a Registered Nurse, where you'll be responsible for managing an average patient load of 5 to 7 adult, acute care patients. Your expertise in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and emergency response will be essential in providing specialized care to patients recovering from procedures and requiring close surveillance. The role involves charting in EPIC, administering IV therapies, and supporting airway management with nasal cannulas, oxygen masks, and portable oxygen tanks.
You'll operate on a 4x12 night shift schedule, with every other weekend off, allowing for ample time to explore the area's attractions or relax after your shift. This assignment offers a stimulating environment where your skills make a direct impact, all within a reputable tertiary care hospital known for its comprehensive services and diverse patient population.
