Cardiac OR - Operating Room | Registered Nurse

Shift Details:

• 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• 3x12 schedule

Position Overview:

• The Adult Cardiac OR cares for a wide variety of patients, including CABGs, TAVIs, and Heart Failure cases (VADs, ECMO, Artificial Heart, and Heart Transplants)
• Uses a multidisciplinary approach to care for patients of all ages
• Requires ability to independently circulate complex adult cardiac cases, which may include:
• CABGs
• Structural heart cases (Bentall)
• Minimally invasive procedures (Mini Aortic Valve Replacement)
• Heart failure cases (Impella)
• Transplant and TAVI/TAVR experience preferred but not required

Job Requirements:

• RN License (NY License ONLY)
• Two (2) years of experience
• Operating room experience in a Level 1 Trauma center — preferred
• Able to circulate
• Telemetry

Required

Certifications:

• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)

Skills:

• RN License (NY License ONLY) — Required
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) — Required
• Two (2) Years Experience — Required
• Operating room experience in a Level 1 Trauma — Highly Desired
• Able to scrub and circulate — Required
• ACLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) — Required
• Telemetry — Required
