Registered Nurse – Intermediate Care Unit
Schedule:
Shift: 4x12 — Nights Weekends:
Every other weekend
Requirements:
Valid NY RN license Minimum 1 year RN experience BLS and NIHSS certifications required Charting experience in EPIC Preferred: ACLS certification
Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide care for adult patients in an Intermediate Care Unit setting, managing higher-acuity medical needs. Monitor patients with continuous telemetry and pulse-ox. Administer medications and IV infusions, including titratable medications. Participate in rapid response and code team situations. Provide respiratory support, including BiPAP management and airway care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.

Orientation: ~24 hours Patient ratio requirement: 1:5 to 1:7 (Med Surg as needed) Candidates within a 75-mile radius are not accepted. Confirm eligibility prior to submittal.
