Straight Nights, Weekends, Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs, 36 or 48 hours per week

Requirements:
- RN License (New York only)
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association only)
- ACLS Certification (Highly desired, American Heart Association only)
- NIHSS Certification
- Two (2) years of experience in a high acuity neurosurgical or stroke unit
- Stepdown/PCU experience required
- Telemetry experience required
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional nursing care to patients in a mixed-acuity neurosurgical unit.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care for neurological conditions.
- Perform neuro assessments, including Q1 neuro checks.
- Manage patients with various neurological interventions, including EVDs, lumbar drains, and VP shunts.
- Administer medication and intravenous therapies as prescribed, including cardiac drips and hypertonic saline.
- Monitor patient status and respond to changes in acuity and health condition.
