Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical / Telemetry

Shift: Nights, 3x12 (1900–0700) Weekends:
Every other weekend

Requirements:

• NY RN license required
• Minimum 1 year RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• EPIC experience required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in a high-volume medical-surgical and telemetry setting.
• Monitor and manage patients with conditions such as CHF, acute MI, and arrhythmias.
• Administer blood products and facilitate oxygen therapy as needed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team during rapid response situations and code events.
• Perform wound care and manage wound VAC therapies.
• Float to other units as required, maintaining safe nurse-to-patient ratios.

Compliance / Notes:

• Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility are not eligible.
• Cannot submit candidates with more than 10 days of requested time off (RTO).
• Background checks are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
• Pre-start modules may be required and could be billable up to 5 hours.
