Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab​/EP

$2718.91/week –

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced EP Lab RN to provide specialized cardiovascular care within the electrophysiology lab. The ideal candidate will perform complex procedures and assist in cardiac ablations, mapping, and device management, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Execute electrophysiology procedures including cardiac ablations, mapping, and cardioversion.
• Insert, program, and monitor cardiac devices such as AICDs and pacemakers.
• Scrub in during vascular access, sheath removal, and topical hemostasis procedures.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, conduct conduction studies, and monitor patient responses.
• Administer emergency medications, blood products, and manage IV vasopressors and thrombolytics.
• Maintain proficiency with EPIC and Micropace monitoring systems and perform routine vascular closure.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active NY RN license with at least 2 years of cardiovascular or EP lab experience.
• Certified in ACLS and BLS.
• Demonstrate competency in phlebotomy and IV placement.
• Ability to scrub in and operate EP lab equipment including micropace systems.
• Possess excellent assessment skills and the ability to interpret complex rhythm data.
• Capable of working day shifts without weekends, holidays, or call, with on-call required.
