Job Description:

This is a fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department in a level 1 Trauma center. We cater to inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan. Nurses work within a multidisciplinary team and are responsible for the pre-procedural preparation of patients and post-procedural recovery and overnight observation care. RN responsible for pre/post and 23hr care for IR patients. Care for patients boarding overnight pre or post procedure.

BLS and ACLS required.

Responsibilities:

• Pre-procedural preparation of patients
• Post-procedural recovery and overnight observation care

Requirements:

• 2 years' Registered IR Nursing experience
• 2 years of MED SURG experience
• Telemetry Experience Required
• New York RN license (ONLY)
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
