Registered Nurse - Med/Tele
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a 16-week contract in the Med/Tele unit, specializing in Complex Care. This position requires a commitment to patient care and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
This position will be on a night shift schedule, working 12 hours from 7 PM to 7 AM. Candidates can choose between 36 or 48 hours per week, which includes 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.
Provide nursing care to patients in the Med/Tele unit, monitoring vital signs and administering medications as needed.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Float to other units as required and maintain flexibility according to the facility's needs.
Fulfill requirements for charge duties when necessary, and participate in training if needed.
Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry.
2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York required.
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
