Registered Nurse – Palliative Care/Stroke Unit
Schedule:
Nights - 12HR: 7P-7A / 7A-7P, Night/Day Rotation 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
Assignment Details:
Contract Duration: 16 weeks
Requirements:
Active NY RN license, AHA BLS Certification, NIHSS Certification, 1 year recent experience in acute med surg/tele, 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates
Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a palliative and stroke unit. Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and families on care plans and health management. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record system (EPIC). Assist in charge nurse responsibilities and float to other units as needed.
Compliance / Notes:
Must work at least 1 holiday per contract. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. Flexibility is required according to the facility's scheduling needs.
