RNs need to have a mandatory competency with phlebotomy as well as placing IVs as this is a required skill for any RN at Unity.

Position / Specialty: MS/Tele RN

Day/Eve ratios are 5 to 1 (stretch 6-7). Night ratios are expected to be 6-7 to 1 (stretch 8-10 if staff calls in)

We have PCT’s on all units that do vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKG’s and any sort of activity of daily living

We will not allow more than 1 week RTO in a contract

Special Requirements: MS/Tele, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, Feeding tube care and management, Blood Product Administration, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, PCA, Ortho trauma, Total Joint Replacements, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Tracheostomy Management, Wound Care/Wound Vac

Patient Diagnosis: osteoarthritis of any joints, fractures of any bones
