Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
This position requires night shifts with a 12-hour rotation from 3P to 3A or 7P to 7A. A minimum of 36 hours per week is required, including one weekend shift per contracted week or two weekend shifts every other weekend, as well as at least one holiday shift during the contract period.
Join a large, high-acuity Emergency Department featuring 80 treatment spaces in a modern facility. The department has a collaborative team environment with strong leadership and a substantial focus on high-quality patient care, including specialized geriatric emergency care in a department accredited by ACEP.
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessment and triage of patients presenting to the Emergency Department
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitoring patient progress and responding to changes in condition
- Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience, active New York RN license, NIH and AHA BLS certifications required, 2 years of work history in the U.S. for non-U.S. candidates.
This is a 16-week contract position.
