This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule:

3x12 hour shifts (7am - 5:30pm or 7am - 7:30pm) including weekends, holidays, on-call, and charge per unit as needed.

Job Description:

The Cath Lab is a specialized inpatient and outpatient procedural setting focusing on the mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for cardiac patients. With 4 catheterization labs and 3 electrophysiology labs, we cater to adult and pediatric patients with various cardiac conditions. Our program provides comprehensive pre and post-procedural care with a dedicated holding area, supported by a skilled team of RN staff and CVT collaboration aimed at achieving excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the Cath Lab and EP Lab settings.
• Perform procedures related to cardiac interventions, left and right heart hemodynamics, and vascular interventions.
• Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients throughout the procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience.
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications.
• Moderate sedation training and dysrhythmia/telemetry proficiency.
• Experience with TAVR, Microclip, Watchmen, and various cardiac interventions.
• Required experience in mechanical circulatory support, including ECMO, Impella, and IABP.
• New York RN License is mandatory.
