Registered Nurse (RN)

This position offers an opportunity to provide care for older adults in a long-term care environment. The role involves working with a team to support the holistic needs of residents, with a focus on quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to residents, including assessments and medication administration.
• Document and implement nursing care plans in line with established protocols.
• Oversee and support the work of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
• Conduct regular evaluations of patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Facilitate effective communication with team members and assist in coordinating patient care.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a long-term care setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
