Overview
Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology in Rochester, New York. Start date September 28, 2026 for a 15-week travel assignment. Shifts are 10 hours (4x10s). Weekly pay ranges from $2,771 to $2,829. This travel assignment supports adult inpatients and outpatients undergoing interventional radiology procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting, with pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedure monitoring, and post-procedure recovery including PACU and extended observation (23-hour).

- On-call, weekends and holidays may be required per unit need
- Prepare adult patients for interventional radiology procedures (biopsies, embolizations, ablations, angiography, drain placements, and other image-guided interventions)
- Monitor patients intra-procedure, assist the IR team, and maintain patient safety and sterile technique
- Manage post-procedure recovery, including PACU and extended observation, with appropriate monitoring for complications
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (physicians, anesthesia, radiology techs, and nursing staff) to deliver high-quality patient-centered care
- Provide peri-procedural education, chest/vascular assessments, and discharge planning as appropriate
- Adhere to infection prevention measures and unit policies; follow scrubs and PPE requirements as directed
- NYS Registered Nurse license (required)
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification (required)
- ACLS (American Heart Association) certification (required)
- Telemetry experience (required)
- Minimum 1 year of recent interventional radiology experience (required)
- Nursing degree from an accredited program (ASN or BSN) and eligibility to practice in New York
- Ability to work 4x10-hour shifts and to support weekends, holidays, and on-call needs in a fast-paced environment
