About This Role

The QA/QI Nurse position at Strong Memorial Hospital is a part-time role focused on managing quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives within the Otolaryngology department. • Pay: $40.03 - $54.04

• Schedule: Part-time, variable shifts

• Manage quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives for the department.
• Assist in phone triage and provide patient education on pre and post-surgical care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify areas for enhancement.
• Monitor, evaluate, and optimize patient outcomes through effective initiatives.
• Drive a culture of excellence, safety, and patient-centered care.
• Manage both physician and nursing driven initiatives in ambulatory and inpatient settings.
• Facilitate patient throughput and assist with procedural activity.
• Support peers in the delivery of patient care services.
• Assume roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member as needed.

Education:

• NYS nursing license required

Experience:

• At least 3 years of nursing experience

Certifications:

• Current RN License in New York
