Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
13-week contract with 12-hour shifts, alternating between days and nights. Requires availability for every other weekend and holiday.
Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with various emergency diagnoses. Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5.
Active RN license in the state
BLS, ACLS, and valid NIHSS certifications required
Minimum of 1 year of acute care or emergency department experience preferred
Experience with IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, and emergency care
EPIC experience required
Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment
Perform triage and manage emergency cases
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
Administer medications, including IV vasopressors and blood products
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
Document patient care and treatments accurately in the electronic health record
Orientation provided; one pre-approved time off allowed per contract. Local candidate policy applies.
