Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Telemetry
Schedule
Weekend coverage every other week; floating to care for med/surg patients may be required; call dependent on staffing needs.
Assignment Details
14-bed temporary overflow unit accommodating ED boarder patients.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year RN experience required.
- BLS certification required.
- EPIC charting experience required.
- Competency in phlebotomy and IV insertion is mandatory.
- Charge experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Telemetry monitoring of patients.
- Performing assessments and developing care plans.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members.
- Providing education and support to patients and families.
- Ensuring adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
Compliance / Notes
Must possess a valid nursing license. Minimal requests for time off; additional requests beyond pre-start submission may not be accommodated.
