About This Role

The Cardiac Cath Lab Procedural Area RN Level 2 is responsible for providing competent direct patient care in a fast-paced, high-volume procedural environment. This role is ideal for nurses with critical care experience who are looking to work with adult patients facing cardiac and vascular conditions.

• Pay: $38.76 - $50.39
• Location: Rochester, NY
• Facility: Strong Memorial Hospital
• Schedule: Full-time, Rotating

• Provide direct patient care based on established standards.
• Contribute to unit activities and support enhancement of the care delivery system.
• Support peers in the delivery of patient care services.
• Assume expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member.
• Manage acutely ill patient populations presenting with acute coronary syndrome, cardiogenic shock, and advanced heart failure.
• Demonstrate effective critical thinking skills in a procedural environment.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities for STEMI/Emergency situations.

• Education: Not specified
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of cardiac and/or applicable medical/surgical experience required, 2 years preferred. Critical care experience preferred.
