Registered Nurse – ICU (MICU)

Rochester, NY | Acute Care

Contract | Nights | 4x12 Hours (19:00–07:00) | Every Other Weekend Required

• Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed Medical ICU setting with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2, with occasional 1:1 based on acuity
• Manage complex critical care patients including those with sepsis, ARDS, renal failure, heart failure, respiratory failure/shock, multi-organ failure, and post cardiac arrest with targeted temperature management
• Operate and monitor advanced support devices including CRRT, EKOS, IABP, ECMO, and Impella
• Care for patients undergoing pre-VAD workups, alcohol withdrawal management, and overdose treatment
• Document all patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health record system
• Float to other units as needed based on facility requirements

• Active New York State RN license required — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of ICU/MICU experience required
• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be accepted
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

• Experience with high-acuity critical care populations including ECMO and Impella management
• Familiarity with CRRT and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
• Experience in a large, high-volume ICU environment
