Level II Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Float

New York, NY

Contract | Rotating Shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays, On-Call, Callback, and Charge as needed

• Provide competent, evidence-based patient care in accordance with established standards under the direction of the Nurse Manager
• Float across medical surgical units as assigned, adapting to varying patient populations and unit needs
• Assume expanded role responsibilities including charge nurse
  , preceptor, and committee member duties as needed
• Participate in professional development, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives
• Deliver service excellence through clinical practice and patient-centered care

• BLS Certification – American Heart Association (AHA) ONLY
• Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Ability to work rotating shift schedules including days, evenings, and nights — no straight shifts available

• Prior float pool or multi-unit nursing experience
• Experience in a charge nurse or preceptor role
• Familiarity with quality improvement or shared governance committee participation
