• Experience and certifications required: NY RN license, telemetry experience, BLS and ACLS

• Deliver direct nursing care to adults on the orthopedic trauma and spine-focused Med Surg unit
• Monitor telemetry, administer medications, manage IV therapy, and perform wound care as prescribed
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments; develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans
• Collaborate with physicians, physical/occupational therapy, case management, and other team members to coordinate care
• Support perioperative and postoperative patients, assist with mobilization, discharge planning, and patient/family education
• Respond promptly to clinical changes, participate in unit on-call rotations as required, and maintain accurate documentation

• Active New York RN license
• Minimum 2 years of orthopedic nursing experience
• Orthopedic trauma experience required
• Telemetry monitoring experience required
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• ACLS (American Heart Association)
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, and on-call as needed by the unit
• Experience in a level 1 trauma facility is preferred

• 17-week travel assignment
