Registered Nurse – Operating Room

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity, Level 1 Trauma Center in Rochester, NY. This role offers exposure to a diverse surgical caseload and advanced technology, including Da Vinci robotic systems and a comprehensive transplant program.

• Rotating Day/Evening/Night shifts
• On-call and callback required
• Weekend and holiday coverage required based on unit needs
• Floating required as needed

• Provide nursing care in the operating room across a wide range of surgical specialties
• Perform both scrub and circulating duties
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all surgical protocols

• Orthopedics
• General Surgery
• Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery
• Urology
• Cardiac & Thoracic
• Neurosurgery
• Vascular
• Ophthalmic
• GYN
• ENT
• Oral-Maxillofacial
• Trauma (Level 1 Trauma Center)
• Transplant (Liver, Kidney, Heart)
• Robotic Surgery (Da Vinci Systems)

• Active RN License – New York State (Required)
• Minimum of 2 years Operating Room experience (Level 1 Trauma experience preferred)
• Ability to scrub and circulate cases

• Telemetry experience (highly desired)
• Experience with complex surgical cases including:
• Transplants
• Plastics/Reconstructive proceduresCraniotomy
• Strong Orthopedic background

• BLS – American Heart Association (Required)
• ACLS (Preferred)
