Summary:
This position involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU).
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and update individualized care plans, and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities include ensuring safety, administering medications, documenting patient data, and utilizing research resources for clinical improvement.
Qualifications include a Nursing diploma or associate's degree, NY state RN license, and BLS certification. Preferred candidates have a bachelor's degree and at least 6 months of RN experience.
Skills required are strong assessment, communication, and documentation abilities, along with physical capacity for medium work involving walking, standing, and lifting.
Additional requirements include ongoing continuing education, compliance with safety protocols, and participation in research activities.
Compensation ranges from $39.75 to $52.99 per hour, with pay based on experience and qualifications.
