About This Role

The Radiation Oncology Nurse at Strong – Wilmot Cancer Institute provides competent direct patient care and supports unit activities within a multidisciplinary team. This role is ideal for nurses who are passionate about patient advocacy and care coordination for both adult and pediatric patients.

• Provide competent direct patient care based on established standards.
• Assist in procedural tasks and wound care.
• Administer contrast and manage symptoms.
• Conduct telephone triage and care coordination.
• Support peers in the delivery of patient care services.
• Assume expanded roles such as charge nurse and preceptor.

• Recent radiation oncology experience required.

• Experience in radiation oncology preferred.

• Current RN License in New York.
