About This Role
The Second Floor Operating Room at Strong Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated nurse to provide competent direct patient care in a dynamic surgical environment. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in high-quality, high-efficiency settings and enjoy working as part of a team.
Highlights- Pay: $40 - $54/hour
- Location: Rochester, NY
- Facility: Strong Memorial Hospital
- Schedule: Full-time, Rotating
- Provide intraoperative care to surgical ophthalmology patients in scrub and circulating roles.
- Coordinate activities of the perioperative team to ensure safe patient care.
- Support peers in the delivery of patient care services.
- Assume expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
- Contribute to unit activities and enhance the care delivery system at the unit level.
- Nursing degree from an accredited Nursing Program required.
- Experience in a surgical nursing environment preferred.
- Current New York State RN License in good standing required.
