About This Role

Full-time, Rotating
- Engage in environmental scanning to identify practice gaps.
- Collaborate with others to improve practice and healthcare outcomes.
- Function as a learning facilitator, change agent, and mentor.
- Support learning, change, and professional role competence.
- Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs.
- Identify gaps in practice and coordinate education and competency development.
- Serve as a clinical resource, coach, and mentor for nursing staff.
- Lead quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.
- Develop, review, and implement nursing policies and educational programs.
- Promote continuous professional development in pediatric psychiatric care.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Master’s in Nursing or Education preferred
- Recent pediatric and/or psychiatric nursing experience required
Certifications:
- Current NYS RN License required
- Professional nursing certification in specialty area highly desired
