Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) specializing in Medical Surgical care for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. The role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing essential care to a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities of the LPN – Medical Surgical:

• Monitor vital signs, conduct pain assessments, and track intake/output
• Administer medications via various methods including oral, IM, SQ, and via NG/G-tube
• Perform wound care, administer oxygen, and manage feeding tubes
• Conduct telemetry monitoring and 12-lead EKG
• Communicate patient status changes to RN/MD

Requirements of the LPN – Medical Surgical:

• Active New York Single State LPN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Acute Care experience within the last 2 years
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
