Job Summary:Tryfacta is seeking a Dialysis RN for our client in Rochester, NY

Position Title:Dialysis RN
Location:Rochester, NY

Work Schedule:Days | 4x10s | 5:30 AM–6:00 PM
Pay rate:$60-$65
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide acute dialysis care to hospitalized patients. The RN will be responsible for initiating and monitoring dialysis treatments, managing vascular access, responding to dialysis-related complications, and ensuring safe, high-quality patient care.
- Initiate, set up, monitor, and complete dialysis treatments.
- Perform AV fistula and AV graft cannulation.
- Manage tunneled and non-tunneled dialysis catheters.
- Perform pre- and post-dialysis patient assessments and access care.
- Administer blood and blood products as ordered.
- Monitor vital signs, fluid balance, symptoms, and treatment response.
- Troubleshoot dialysis machine alarms and treatment complications.
- Recognize and manage hypotension, fluid overload, hyperkalemia, chest pain, seizures, and other dialysis-related emergencies.
- Monitor for air embolism, hemolysis, blood leaks, disequilibrium syndrome, pyrogenic reactions, and pericarditis.
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and respond appropriately to cardiac emergencies.
- Perform blood return and safely disconnect patients from dialysis equipment.
- Follow infection-control, sterilization, and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation using Epic.
- Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse experience.
- Dialysis nursing experience required.
- BLS certification required.
- Epic experience required.
- Strong knowledge of acute dialysis procedures and vascular access management.
- Ability to identify and respond to dialysis-related complications and emergencies.
