About This Role
The Diagnostic Imaging Inpatient and Outpatient Service Locations Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing patient care and nursing activities in the diagnostic imaging unit. This role is ideal for experienced nursing professionals who excel in leadership, collaboration, and quality improvement.

Full-time, Rotating
- Maintain 24-hour accountability for patient care and nursing activities on the assigned outpatient unit.
- Oversee and direct unit activities including standards development and human resource management.
- Lead and demonstrate the provision of safe patient and family-focused quality care for diagnostic imaging.
- Support clinical decision-making and lead huddles.
- Monitor quality data and assist in scheduling.
- Promote a culture of safety and quality by ensuring continuity in the development of standards and protocols.
- Ensure radiation, radiopharmaceutical, and MRI safety principles are maintained.
- Collaborate with modality Service Chiefs, Chief Technologists, and Operations Manager for efficient daily operations.
- Monitor and respond to changes in unit metrics including budget and staffing.
- Maintain clinical competency to care for patients in diagnostic imaging modalities.
Education:
- MS in Nursing required (within 5 years)
- 5 years of nursing experience required
Certifications:
- Active RN License in New York State required
