Description:

Job  schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.There are no night or weekend shifts.

The availability of full-time is preferred.

However, 2-3 weeks a month may be considered.

The unit has a low to moderate acuity level.

The care is primarily outpatient with a focus on diabetes management.

Prior experience with Continuous Glucose Monitor analysis and insulin pump management is ideal, though not strictly necessary.

No additional procedures are performed.

The patient ratio is 20-25 patients per day.

There are 15 exam rooms within the unit.

Automated medication dispensing systems are not used.

Charting is conducted using EPIC with the assistance of an AI ambient scribe.

Staffing on the unit includes 5 providers, 3 nurse practitioners, 3 registered nurses, 2 licensed practical nurses, and 6 certified nursing assistants.

Additional support staff includes 4 other roles.

The expectation for work history is to remain current without any gaps greater than 30 days.

Candidates involved in malpractice history must provide a physician's statement.

Residents or fellows are not accepted for this position.

All candidates must ensure their CV is updated.

Candidates must possess an active NY license in hand.

Cell phone use is permitted during shifts according to unit policies.

Dress code consists of scrubs or business attire.

Candidates should demonstrate adherence to all unit policies and procedures.
