Ambulatory Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation – Procedural Suite Position – Registered Nurse , Outpatient

About This Role

The Registered Nurse 2 in the Ambulatory Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation will provide competent direct patient care in a new and innovative procedural suite. This role is ideal for nurses with strong IV skills who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Provide direct patient care based on established standards.
• Assist with spinal injections and minor hand-based procedures.
• Administer osteoporosis infusion therapy.
• Conduct pre and post-surgery assessments.
• Circulate and document during procedures.
• Educate patients pre and post-procedure.
• Support peers in the delivery of patient care services.
• Assume expanded roles such as charge nurse and preceptor.
• Participate in unit activities to enhance care delivery.
• Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
