Job Description

Day Shift 8 hours/day 5 days/week

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM

Call: Required for overnight and weekend coverage

License: NY RN License ONLY

Experience: 2+ years Endoscopy procedure experience

Certifications: BLS & ACLS —
AHA only

Required Skills: Telemetry/rhythm identification, conscious sedation, expert IV insertion, general anesthesia recovery

Procedures: GI procedure intake, patient sedation/recovery, IV medication/drips

Responsibilities: Monitor vitals, administer medications, prepare/sterilize equipment, assist physicians, complete documentation and discharge paperwork, address patient concerns

• Experience of recovering patient from general anesthesia Required
• Experience of performing intake for GI procedures Required
