LVN​/LPN – Ambulatory Care​/Clinic​/Outpatient

Job Summary:

The LVN/LPN will provide clinical support within an outpatient nephrology clinic, managing patient care and assisting with various clinical tasks. The role requires independence, adaptability, and strong communication skills to ensure efficient patient services.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient rooming, including taking vital signs and preparing patients for examinations.
• Administer injections and assist with patient procedures under supervision.
• Manage electronic health records accurately, with preferred experience in EPIC and ambulatory settings.
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.
• Float to different clinic locations as needed, maintaining flexibility and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with all licensure, background, and travel policies, including verifying foreign education if applicable.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active NY State LVN or LPN license in hand.
• Possess at least 1 year of relevant outpatient clinical experience.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently and adapt quickly.
• Exhibit strong communication skills and reliability.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records and ambulatory care preferred.
• Be flexible to float across clinics and work shifts as required.
