Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts. Floating to other units as needed. Block scheduling not guaranteed.
Highlights:- 64-bed Emergency Department with diverse patient population including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients
- Comprehensive ED environment with 40 acute beds, 2 trauma rooms, 6 super track beds, 10 clinical decision unit beds, 6 psych beds, and 2 triage stations
- High-acuity case mix including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
- Specialty equipment experience including Rapid Infuser and Arctic Sun therapeutic temperature management systems
- EPIC electronic medical record system utilized
- Charge nurse capability highly preferred
- Active New York RN license required
- Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department nursing experience with pediatric experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Current TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required at time of submission
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Valid driver's license required
- Local candidates accepted (within 75 miles at local rate)
