Hours: 36 or 48 hrs/week

Unit: Mixed-acuity neurosurgical unit with 8-bed high-acuity step-down

Patient Care: Brain tumors, spinal disorders, neuroendovascular & epilepsy surgery

Hours: 36 or 48 hrs/week
Unit: Mixed-acuity neurosurgical unit with 8-bed high-acuity step-down
Patient Care: Brain tumors, spinal disorders, neuroendovascular & epilepsy surgery
Skills: Q1 neuro checks, EVD/lumbar/subdural drains, 3% NS, Cardene, A-lines
Procedures: Carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm coiling/clipping, DBS, VP shunts & seizure management

Requirements

MUST HAVE STEPDOWN EXPERIENCE/PCU EXPERIENCE
BLS
High acuity stroke and neurosurgery experience required
Telemetry Experience

Required

License: NY RN License ONLY
Experience: 2+ years
NIHSS: Required
ACLS: Preferred
