This is a RN Travel position. You must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.

Description:

Cardiac OR RNFA - Travel Nursing Opportunity

• 3x12-hour shifts per week
• 36 or 48 hours per week
• Primarily weekday shifts: 7:00 AM-7:00 PM and 11:00 AM-11:00 PM
• On-call responsibilities per unit need

RNFA must be able to assist with chest exposure and closing RNFA must be able to independently perform vein harvesting for CABGs Preferred, but not required: ability to first assist in DaVinci robotic cases Preferred, but not required: ability to scrub and circulate complex cardiac cases

• Coronary Artery Bypass Grafts (CABGs)
• Structural heart cases (e.g., Bentall)
• Minimally invasive procedures (e.g., Mini Aortic Valve Replacement)
• Heart failure cases (e.g., Impella)
• Heart transplants (experience preferred)

• Minimum 2 years of cardiac RNFA experience
• Active New York State (NYS) RN license — NY license only
• BLS Certification — American Heart Association only
• ACLS Certification — American Heart Association only
• CNOR Certification
• Telemetry experience
