Registered Nurse
- Neurological Unit (Telemetry)
3x12-hour shifts Rotating shift schedules (Days, Evenings, Nights) Weekends and Holidays required On-Call / Callback per unit needs Charge as needed per unit needs 48 hours per week billed at regular time (rotational shift)
An exciting opportunity on a specialized neurological unit Excellent environment to learn about various neurological diseases while utilizing nursing and critical thinking skills Fast-paced setting caring for patients with stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain Barré Syndrome, and more Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center Only Level 4 Epilepsy Monitor Unit in the region, serving many acute and complex patients Works with a specialty team to evaluate, diagnose, and treat seizures using state-of-the-art continuous video EEG technology Close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team that values nurses' skills, talents, and compassion
Requirements- RN License (New York State license only)
- Minimum two (2) years of experience
- Telemetry experience required
- BLS
- American Heart Association only - NIHSS certification
