Anticoagulation RN – Center Perioperative Medicine; CPM) level 3

The Anticoagulation RN at Strong Memorial Hospital is responsible for coordinating anticoagulation plans for patients preparing for surgery. This role is ideal for a nurse with strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.

• Pay: $42 - $56/hour
• Location: Rochester, NY
• Facility: Strong Memorial Hospital
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Coordinate anticoagulation plans for patients preparing for surgery.
• Work with prescribing clinicians, surgeons, APPs, and anesthesia to clarify plans.
• Communicate instructions to patients and follow up on outstanding recommendations.
• Provide cross coverage for the CPM Clinical Liaison RN.
• Support preoperative testing, specialty communication, patient education, and follow-up.
• Assume an expanded charge nurse role and unit responsibility for orientation of new staff.
• Monitor and evaluate patient care based on unit standards.
• Actively participate in unit/service activities to contribute to outcomes.

• RN degree required

• Experience in a clinical setting preferred

• Current RN License in New York
