Passionate about animal care, highly motivated, and attentive to detail. Veterinary Technicians are the heartbeat of our team and work side by side with Veterinarians (DVMs) during procedures. The full‑time position requires 30‑40 hours per week, a combination of day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, including one weekend shift.
Role Responsibilities- Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
- Assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
- Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with the state Veterinary Practice Act for credentialed veterinary technicians.
- Monitor and assess patients’ status.
- Collect blood and other samples for testing.
- Place catheters.
- Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments.
- Assist in maintaining comprehensive medical records with the help of practice systems.
- Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts.
- Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and maintain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
- Guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.
- Veterinary technician licensure required.
- 1–2 years of clinical experience.
- An associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an AVMA‑accredited veterinary technology program preferred; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, squat, reach, stand, and walk throughout the day.

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with an hourly pay range starting at $21‑23/hour. The specific rate will consider your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
