Where

You'll Make a Difference
  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health and Safety programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintain compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements and environmental regulations through effective policies, procedures, audits, and reporting.
  • Serve as the site Environmental, Health and Safety subject matter expert, partnering with operations, maintenance, quality, and leadership teams to drive a strong safety culture.
  • Manage environmental permits, regulatory filings, inspections, audits, sampling activities, and waste management programs.
  • Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, develop corrective actions, and ensure timely implementation of preventative measures.
  • Administer industrial hygiene programs including hearing conservation, respiratory protection, hazard communication, exposure monitoring, ergonomics, and heat stress prevention.
  • Support Process Safety Management programs, including maintenance of program documentation and compliance with Process Hazard Management Plan requirements.
  • Coordinate occupational health initiatives, medical surveillance programs, workers' compensation reporting, and return-to-work processes.
  • Ensure Department of Transportation compliance through proper training, packaging, labeling, shipping, and security practices.
What Makes You The Right Fit
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health, or a related field.
  • Two to five years of Environmental, Health and Safety experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations and environmental compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing environmental permits, regulatory reporting, inspections, and compliance programs.
  • Understanding of industrial hygiene principles, exposure monitoring, respiratory protection, and hazard communication programs.
  • Experience conducting incident investigations and implementing corrective and preventative actions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence employees and leaders at all levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and deliver results in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
How Would You Stand Out?
  • Master's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Board Certified Safety Professional certification.
  • Experience supporting food, feed, dietary supplement, laboratory, or highly regulated manufacturing operations.
