Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector for our ISO 9001:2015 precision machining company. This role requires experience with tight-tolerance part inspection and documentation.
Responsibilities- Perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections of precision parts.
- Manage non-conformances and maintain all quality records.
- Conduct inspections of incoming material, first articles, and production processes.
- Maintain organized inspection areas and ensure all tools and equipment are properly used and maintained.
- Actively participate in corrective and preventative actions.
- Communicate professionally with team members to ensure quality standards are met.
- 3–5+ years of hands‑on machining inspection experience.
- Proficiency in using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and comparators.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and advanced print reading.
- Experience with quality control and assurance practices.
- Ability to perform quality checks and visual inspections.
Skills & Qualifications
- CMM experience preferred.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Professional communication skills.
Work hours are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM in a dynamic and organized setting focused on maintaining high‑quality standards. The facility is equipped with advanced inspection tools and fosters a professional and collaborative atmosphere.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 – $30.00 hr.
