Responsible for troubleshooting and testing a wide range of RF and digital printed circuit boards, subassemblies, and end products. Uses various types of test equipment to diagnose issues, record results in technical databases, and interpret engineering schematics. Applies strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve product, subassembly, and circuit board failures down to the component level. Works effectively in a fast‑paced environment while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct tests on a variety of RF or digital printed circuit boards, subassemblies, or end products.
- Use a variety of test equipment, log information in technical databases, and have a basic understanding of engineering schematics.
- Work in a fast‑paced environment with a cross‑functional team.
- Traverse across the production floor for the duration of the shift (up to 12 hours).
- High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience, or 2 years post‑secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- Basic knowledge of Electrical Engineering theory;
Associates degree (technical discipline) is preferred. - Electronics/RF or Digital Troubleshooting Experience.
- Experience with L3
Harris RFCD products and assembly processes. - Ability to perform LabVIEW driven automated tests.
- Familiarity with basic test equipment, i.e. Signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers.
- Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams.
- MS Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Regularly demonstrates a positive attitude.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $49,500 - $91,500. L3
