What You'll Do- Inspect products for dimensional accuracy, contour, finish, fill, and overall conformance to quality standards.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality control instructions.
- Use precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, Vernier calipers, gauge pins, height gauges, comparators, and gear checkers.
- Perform first‑piece inspections and verify in‑process and finished products.
- Operate a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) by placing parts on fixtures and running inspection programs.
- Identify quality deviations, notify production leadership, and support corrective actions.
- Contain and identify non‑conforming products while maintaining accurate product identification.
- Complete inspection reports, maintain quality records, and follow good documentation practices.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of visual and dimensional inspection experience.
- 2+ years of experience using micrometers, CMMs, and smart scopes.
- CMM/PC‑DMIS experience.
- Knowledge of QMS and cGMP practices.
- Must have good decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to positively motivate others.
- Must be self‑motivated.
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
- Stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to the floor.
- Exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally.
- Exert 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently.
- Exert up to 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- High noise levels from operating machines.
- Physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts.
- Breathing fumes, dust, and mist.
