Position Summary
In this role you will support the manufacturing team by testing, troubleshooting, and validating RF communication products and electronic assemblies to ensure they meet performance and quality requirements. This role is responsible for operating test equipment, executing production test procedures, identifying and resolving technical issues, documenting results, and working closely with engineering, quality, and production teams. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with RF systems, electronics diagnostics, and a strong attention to detail.
WhatYou'll Do
- Must be able to read, interpret and follow assembly prints, schematics and work instructions.
- Perform functional, RF, and environmental testing of circuit boards and top‑level assemblies.
- Maintain accurate and clear documentation that proves that testing has been carried out in accordance with internal quality systems or regulations. It is important that procedures are followed, equally important is proving these operations were carried out and documented.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose failures at the component, board, and system level.
- Utilize RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and power meters.
- Aid in developing product test instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Document test results, failures, and corrective actions in accordance with quality procedures.
- Maintain test equipment calibration status.
- Train other Metrea employees on testing, reading and interpreting schematics, and troubleshooting RF circuits.
- Conduct product tests and quality checks to ensure the highest product quality is upheld.
- Ensure compliance with ESD, safety, and handling procedures.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in RF assembly testing and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with RF principles (frequency, modulation, signal behavior).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with automated test systems (ATE)
- Systematic approach in problem solving and troubleshooting
IPC-610 and J-Standard certifications desired

Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time exempt position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with department and business needs.
