Quality & Visual SpecialistsEmployment Type: Full-time, direct hire, onsite, non-exempt
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. / 7am-3:30pm
Compensation: $18.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications

The Quality & Visual Inspection Specialist is responsible for inspecting precision-machined metal components to verify compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, dimensional tolerances, and applicable quality standards.
This position performs first article, first-piece, in-process, open-plate, visual, and final inspections using microscopes, gauges, precision measurement instruments, and other inspection equipment. The specialist documents inspection results, identifies and records nonconformities, maintains traceability records, and works closely with production, engineering, and quality personnel to resolve issues and improve manufacturing processes.
Job Qualifications:- Experience performing first article, first-piece, in-process, open-plate, visual, and final inspections of precision-machined metal components
- Experience documenting nonconformities and maintaining inspection records within an ERP or quality-management system
- Proficiency using calipers, micrometers, microscopes, height gauges, CMMs, and other precision inspection equipment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, inspection plans, GD&T, and tight dimensional tolerances
- Experience working in a CNC machining, precision manufacturing, aerospace, defense, medical-device, or similarly regulated environment
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with manufacturing, production, engineering, and quality teams
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical coursework or certification in machining, manufacturing, or quality is preferred
- Ability to commute daily to the Rochester, NY facility

Compensation: $28.00–$48.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience
Position Summary:Our client partner is seeking an experienced Quality Control Leader and Internal Auditor to support CNC machining operations and an aerospace-focused quality management system.
This position requires more than general auditing experience. The successful candidate must understand how precision-machined components move through the complete manufacturing process—from raw-material receipt, job setup, machining, and outside processing through dimensional inspection, documentation, traceability, and final product release. The Quality Control Leader and Internal Auditor will conduct internal audits, evaluate manufacturing controls, identify compliance gaps, support corrective actions, strengthen documentation, and help maintain readiness for customer, registrar, regulatory, and quality-system audits.
Job Responsibilities:- Plan, schedule, conduct, and document internal audits of the quality management system, manufacturing processes, and supporting departments
- Audit CNC machining operations throughout the full production cycle, including material identification, machine setup, machining, in-process inspection, outside processing, final inspection, and product release
