Location: City of Rochester

We are seeking a detail-oriented QC Technician to join our Quality team in Rochester, NY. In this role, you will perform part inspections throughout all phases of production, support Quality Engineering and Engineering with product documentation, and develop inspection programs for CMM inspection.

New facility coming in Webster, NY in 2027!

What You'll Do
  • Perform 1st piece, receiving, final, and in-process quality inspections
  • Follow all safety processes and company quality procedures
  • Complete First Article Inspection reports and capability study measurements
  • Develop inspection programs using CMM, Vision systems, Faro arm, and Virtek equipment
  • Support Quality Engineering with FAIR templates, PPAP documents, certifications, capability study reports, and other quality documentation
  • Support Engineering with manufacturing process control documents and quality plans using Solid Works
  • Assist with product disposition, NCMRs, and rework setup for quality issues
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED required;
    Associate's degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of related experience or training
  • ASQ Certification preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Sheet metal fabrication experience preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of GD&T
  • Experience using micrometers, verniers, scales/rulers, height gauges, protractors, optical comparators, and CMMs
  • Familiarity with CMM programming software (PC-DMIS experience a plus)
  • Solid Works experience preferred;
    Minitab experience a plus
  • Strong math skills, including trigonometry
  • Ability to work in inches and millimeters
  • Experience with advanced measuring equipment (Romer arm, Faro arm, or Virtek) is helpful
Computer Skills
  • Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Internet Explorer
  • Familiarity with CMM programming software
Compensation & Schedule
  • Pay: $28-$34/hour
  • Schedule:

    Monday-Friday, 1st shift, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
