We are hiring for a Layout Technician in automotive parts manufacturing is responsible for measuring, inspecting, and validating parts, tooling, fixtures, and assemblies to ensure they meet engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and customer specifications.

Schedule:
Tuesday - Friday 5:15 pm-5:15 am

• Perform dimensional inspections on automotive components.
• Read and interpret:
• GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
• Use precision measuring equipment such as:
• CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines)
• Calipers
• Micrometers
• Optical comparators
• Laser scanners
• Create inspection and layout reports.
• Validate first article inspections (FAI) and PPAP documentation.
• Support production launches and tooling tryouts.
• Investigate dimensional issues and non-conformances.
• Work with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customers to resolve issues.
