Prepare high-quality food items from recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery, and service schedules. Serve meals or prepare for delivery using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty. Taste all prepared food items, clean the kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Store or discard excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.

Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat. Ensure food and supply items are properly stored. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.

This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity with the potential to join a union based on performance. There is the opportunity to transfer anywhere within the company after one year of employment. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 10:30 am to 7 pm. After 3:30 pm, you will be working independently. The position requires wearing nonslip shoes and black pants (no leggings), and shirts will be provided.

This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Rochester, NY.
