The referenced pay range represents the first and last step pay rates for this job, as set forth in the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Individual pay will be set in accordance with terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

• Clean equipment, utensils, pots, pans, floors, walls, and other work areas, and handle supplies in the food service department.
• Receive immediate supervision from the area supervisor; no supervisory duty exercised.
• Operate dishwashers, pot and pan washers, and other cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Perform typical duties such as:
  • Picks up used dishes from counter areas and tables, prepares for washing by scraping and pre‑rinsing, and washes by machine or hand, silver, china, glasses and/or pots and pans.
  • Assists in handling supplies and food as directed: replenishes milk supply, transports supplies and materials, picks up dishes from tables when necessary, unpacks stock, and may help serve on counter or perform other duties in the food service area.
  • Maintains prescribed sanitation standards: cleans machines and kitchen equipment, washes floors and walls, may wax floors, may clean windows, and performs other general cleaning as directed.
  • Performs other duties as directed.

Requires the ability to work compatibly in a food service atmosphere. Requires the physical ability to stand and walk short distances most of the working day, and to reach for, lift, and carry various materials, and to perform light and heavy cleaning.
